![]() ![]() Anything outside that doesn't work half as well. You simply have a "typing vocabulary" that is limited to 200 words. You won't feel at all confident and you'll wonder what is going on. However, because up until now you haven't really practiced typing any other words, when you are forced to type words that you're unfamiliar with, you will basically be like a fish out of water. You will get very familiar with typing them, and build very strong muscle memory for those words. The default settings also means that you are only ever typing the same 200 short, simple, common words over and over again, cycling through them very quickly. ![]() That means that you will get to the end of the test more quickly and achieve a more pleasing score. This means that you don't have to correct any errors that you make and can instead ignore them and simply carry on typing. Let me guess, on Monkeytype you just use the default settings. ![]()
